Hon'ble Shri Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad Order on Board 31.07.2026 1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following relief:- 10.1. It is therefore prayed that, this Hon'ble Court may kindly pleased to quash/set-aside the order dated 15.06.2026 (ANNEXURE P/1) passed by the Collector, Balodabazar-Bhatapara, arising out of the order dated 23.03.2026 (ANNEXURE P/2) & declare the No-Confidence motion proceedings as null & void & also declare the petitioner, as Sarpanch of Village Daawanbod, in the interest of justice. 10.2. Any other relief/reliefs, which this Hon'ble Court may think fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also please be granted to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he is challenging the order dated 15.06.2026 (Annexure P/1) passed by the Collector, whereby the no-confidence motion has been passed against the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that an alternative remedy is available to the petitioner before the Director 5 of Panchayat under the Rules 1995. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the material available on record and since an alternative remedy is available to the petitioner, the petitioner is relegated to avail the alternative remedy before the Director of Panchayat under the Rules, 1995. 6.
