This is an o.ce reference. 2. This Court, vide order dated 12.03.2025 passed in MCRC No. 1641 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the applicant, namely, Pawan Khatri, had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certi:ed copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on one occasion also, this Court had granted extension of KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 time for compliance of the order dated 12.03.2025. 4. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bilaspur, District-Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 09.12.2025 has requested for grant of 04 months time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in the present case, out of a total of 13 witnesses, the evidence of 07 prosecution witnesses have already been recorded. Summons/bailable warrants/non-bailable warrants are being issued to the remaining witnesses for recording of their evidence, however, due to their continued non-appearance, their evidence could not be recorded and as a result, the case could not be disposed of within the stipulated time period. EBorts are being continuously made to conclude the case at the earliest. Apart from tra.c, virtual court, cyber crime and excise matters, cases from Tra.c Branch, Civil Lines Police Station and City Kotwali are also being listed before the competent Court and approximately 2,400 criminal cases are presently pending. Owing to the heavy pendency and non-appearance of witnesses in a timely manner, delay has occurred in disposal of cases. Nevertheless, in compliance with the directions issued by this Court, earnest eBorts are being made for expeditious disposal of the present case. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, it is most respectfully submitted that an additional period of four months is required for :nal disposal of the case. Hence, he prays that an additional period of four months be graciously granted. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of four months from today. 3 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed o7 with the aforesaid direction. 8.
