In the present writ petition, the challenge is to the order dated 11.05.2026 (Annexure P-3) by which, the Deputy Commissioner, Mansa has written to the Superintendent, Central Jail, Faridkot that the parole cannot be granted to the petitioner on the ground that he can pose a risk to the security of the State and public order. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that no reason has put forward to substantiate the said view and therefore, the said order is liable to be set aside. 3. Notice of motion. 4. Mr. Rahul Rampal, learned Addl. Advocate General, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the impugned order dated 11.05.2026 (Annexure P-3) has been withdrawn with liberty to pass a fresh order, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 7.
