This petition is filed seeking following reliefs: I. Issue a writ of certiorari quashing the common order of the Debts Recovery Tribunal-1 Bengaluru, dated 23.04.2024 passed in OA No.2465/2014 on IA - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010363682024 NC: 2026:KHC:37633 WP No. 17263 of 2024 No.1735/2023 on IA No.1028/2023, herewith produced as Annexure-A. II. Issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Debts Recovery Tribunal-1 Bengaluru, to release/hand over the passport of the petitioner bearing No.Z3129390 issued on 08.04.2015 valid up to 07.04.2025 herewith mentioned to be deposited under Annexure- A. III. Pass any such order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of equity and justice. 3. Sri.Sagar, counsel for the petitioner urged several contentions and it has been specifically contended that the order passed by the DRT is one without jurisdiction. Submission is noted with utmost care. 4. The DRT has passed an order on an interim application. The law is settled that any order passed by the DRT must be assailed before DRAT under Section 18. Hence, I am declined to exercise discretionary power under writ jurisdiction. In these circumstances, no ground exists warranting interference by this Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010363682024 NC: 2026:KHC:37633 WP No. 17263 of 2024 dismissed. The petitioner may approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance. Because of dismissal of the Writ Petition, interim order granted if any stands discharged and pending interlocutory applications if any are disposed of. 5.
