The petitioner claims unpaid family pension from November 14, 2019 till December 19, 2020. 2. The Railway Authorities, during pendency of the writ petition, has issued the requisite communication to the concerned Branch of the State Bank of India directing them to release the family pension, which was being paid to the spouse of the employee, who has since expired on December 19, 2020, to her nominee as indicated in the Pension Payment Order (PPO). A copy of the communication from the Railway Authorities to the State Bank of India, CPPC Branch, dated July 21, 2026, as submitted in Court, is kept on record. 2 3. The petitioner is directed to submit the requisite to show that she is the nominee of Late Gita Poddar, with the Bank Authorities along with legal heir/succession certificate by August 10, 2026. 4. The Bank Authorities will act in terms of the communication dated July 21, 2026, issued by the Railway Authorities and if found to be the nominee, will disburse the family pension to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 5. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 6. There will be no order as to costs. 7. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon usual undertakings. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
