Following relief have been prayed in this petition:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No.5 to decide the representation dated 28.03.2025 made to the respondent No. 5 with regard to the appropriate grant of adequate compensation., in the interest of justice. 10.2 Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 28.03.2025 before respondent No. 5 seeking grant of appropriate and adequate compensation. However, till date, the said representation has not been considered and decided by 3 the concerned authority. It is submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No. 5 to consider and decide the pending representation in accordance with law within a stipulated period. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that if the petitioner’s representation dated 28.03.2025 is pending consideration, the same shall be considered and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law within a reasonable time. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim raised in the representation, this Court deems it appropriate to direct respondent No. 5 to consider and decide the representation dated 28.03.2025 submitted by the petitioner regarding grant of appropriate and adequate compensation, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order. 6. Accordingly, respondent No. 5 is directed to consider and decide the aforesaid representation within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with a copy of the representation and relevant documents. 7. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner, and the competent authority 4 shall be at liberty to take an independent decision in accordance with law. 8. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. 9.
