Supplementary affidavit filed in Court today is taken on record. 2. The petitioner no. 1 is a Christian minority institution and the petitioner no. 2 is the governing body of the petitioner no. 1. 3. The District Inspector of Schools raised certain allegation of irregularities in the school. An in-situ enquiry in connection with the allegation was directed to be conducted by the Commissioner of School Education. 4. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the in- situ enquiry was duly conducted but the report thereof has not been served upon the school authority till date. 5. A formal request for handing over the enquiry report filed by the school authority is also pending consideration. 6. Prayer has been made to direct the authority to forward a copy of the enquiry report to the school. 7. As it appears that an enquiry was conducted by a team of officers from the Directorate of School Education. Accordingly, the Deputy Director of School Education (Basic), West Bengal is directed to forward the enquiry report to the school authority without any Page 2 further delay but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 8. Leaned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the memo no. 72/Basic dated 11th February, 2025 issued by the Deputy Director of School Education (Basic), West Bengal and the copy of the legal representation dated 3rd March, 2025 to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court. 9. A copy of the enquiry report shall also be forwarded to the Principal Secretary, School Education Department who shall thereafter consider the representation filed on behalf of the school on 20th August, 2024 after giving an opportunity of hearing to the representative of the petitioner school. 10. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioners. The Principal Secretary shall take steps to conduct the hearing and pass final order within eight weeks from the date of receipt of the enquiry report from the Deputy Director of School Education (Basic), West Bengal. 11. The writ petition and the connected application stand disposed of. 12. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 13.
