The petitioner has initiated the proceedings against the contemnors/respondents for non-compliance of the order dated 21.07.2023 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 1868/2023, whereby the writ petition was disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner with respect to the fact that the printed licence had not been issued despite the licence already having been granted in favour of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 21.07.2023 the claim of the petitioner has been considered and respondents have passed the Government Order No. 579-Home of 2023 dated 28.11.2023 by which they rejected the claim of the petitioner. In view thereof, the order stands complied with and, as Sr. No. 27 2 such, nothing survives for further consideration in the present contempt petition. 3. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the proceedings in the present contempt petition are closed. 4. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to assail the rejection of his claim contained in Government Order No. 579-Home of 2023 dated 28.11.2023, in accordance with law.
