1. The petitioner’s grievance that he has not been paid his terminal benefits, has been somewhat addressed.
2. Somewhat since Mr. Ray, learned Government Pleader, submits that GPF and the Group Insurance- cum-Savings Scheme have been processed for payment to the petitioner. He also submits that in view of pendency of two criminal cases, the pensionary benefits have not yet been processed and cannot be given unless the petitioner shows that he has been discharged from such criminal cases honourably.

3. Mr. Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner, submits that he has been acquitted in both cases and the same have been settled amicably.
4. Petitioner is directed to deposit all requisite documents with respondent no. 4 by August 12, 2026, who will consider the same and if found that the petitioner has indeed been discharged, will process his claim for pension and make payment of the same within a period of six weeks thereafter.
5. In the meantime, as the GPF and Group Insurance-cum-Savings Scheme have already been processed and necessary instructions have been given by the State Authorities to the respondent no. 5, the respondent no. 5 will process the papers and if all documents are found to be in order, will disburse the same within a period of four weeks from date.
6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
7. There will be no order as to costs.
8. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
