And In the matter of : Nikhil Kumar Sen @ Nikhil Sen ……Petitioner. Ms. Deblina De ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Satadru Lahiri Mr. Safdar Azam …..for the Defacto. Mr. Gouranga Kumar Das, APP Mr. Amartya Mohan Bhattacharya ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 9 years and 7 months. It has been pointed out by the State that arguments of the prosecution has been completed and it is the argument of the defence which is left. Learned advocate for the petitioner rebuts and submits that Trial Court is not available. 2 Be that as it may, since the case is at a very advanced stage, awaiting the final verdict, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1483 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
