By the present writ petition the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment in the post of primary teacher in respect of the recruitment process of 2022 under the category of OBC-A by giving 12.525 marks to the petitioner towards training score. 2. The petitioner contends that he participated in the recruitment process of 2022. The training marks allotted to the petitioner by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education under OBC-A category is 8.672 which ought to be 12.525. Being aggrieved by such action of the Board, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition. 3. Mr. Dibyendu Chatterjee, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits the materials on 2 record clearly suggest that petitioner is entitled to 12.525 marks for training qualification. Had such marks been granted to the petitioner, the petitioner would have got total marks of 32.159 under OBC-A category and would have been eligible for appointment. He seeks for appropriate orders. 4. On the contrary, Mr. Subir Sanyal, learned Senior Advocate appearing on behalf of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that the marks obtained by the petitioner in training qualification as disclosed in his personal details is 1169 out of 2022. On the basis of such disclosure, his training marks have been calculated to 8.672. As such, the Board cannot be held responsible for the same. 5. Ms. Manju Agarwal, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State adopts the submission advanced on behalf of the Board. 6. During the course of hearing, learned Advocates representing the respective parties inform that total marks of D.El.Ed. is 1400. Therefore, taking into account the full marks of 1400 the training marks of the petitioner comes to 12.525. The petitioner has been granted 8.672 for training qualification. 7. In the above conspectus, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, respondent no.2 is directed to recalculate the training marks of the petitioner upon verification and thereafter allot training marks to the petitioner. Upon such allotment of training marks, the 3 candidature of the petitioner shall be considered by the Board. 8. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. 9. With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 12335 of 2026 stands disposed of. 10. Petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, respondent no.2, for necessary compliance. 11. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted. 12. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 13. All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of. 14. There shall be no order as to costs. 15. All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 16.
