2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the Assistant Commissioner, Bangalore North Sub-Division passing an
order at Annexure-"D" in proceedings bearing number R.A (BE) No. 550 of 2022, directing the Tahsildar to accept khatha in the name of the petitioner herein in respect of 4 acres 30 guntas in Survey No. 125 of Boganahalli Village, Varathur Hobli, Bengaluru

HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11380 WP No. 5970 of 2026 East Taluk, since the claim of the petitioner is genuine and the petitioner's father was granted the said lands at the hands of the Special Deputy Commissioner for Inams in Case No. 375 of 1960- 61 dated 05.09.1960, no action has been taken by the Tahsildar.

Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Third respondent - Tahsildar, Bengaluru East Taluk to proceed to find out as to who are the legal heirs of the original grantee Shri B.G. Janardhan Rao and also consider the claim of the petitioner that his father has left behind a Will dated 10.04.1986 bequeathing the property in favour of the petitioner and proceed to enter the name of the person who is entitled to have his name recorded in the revenue records, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
