Heard both the sides. This bail application has been filed on behalf of Seru Ansari @ Md. Seru Ansari who is in custody since 01.07.2025 in connection with Majhgaon P.S. Case No. 18 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 316(2), 316(3), 318(3), 318(4), 338(4), 336(3), 340 and 3(5) of BNS, 2023 pending in the Court of J.M. 1st Class, Chaibasa, is pressed into motion. As per the FIR, seventeen tractors and trollies which were earlier stolen, were recovered and seized from different places when the police succeeded to bust a gang involved in the racket in theft of vehicle. The role of this petitioner was that he was a mechanic and was involved in changing the cover and parts including chassis number for its illegal sale. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that principal accused in this case was namely Md. Tabrej @ Md. Tabrej Ansari who used to get the vehicles from tractors owner by entering into false agreement has been granted bail by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No. 11498 of 2025. It is also submitted that another similarly situated co-accused has already been granted bail. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on depositing security of Rs. 25,000/- on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
