JUSTICE LALITHA KANNEGANTI ORAL ORDER This writ petition is filed seeking for the following prayer: Wherefore, it is humbly prayed for issue of appropriate writ, order or direction, including a writ of certiorari, - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010399932026 NC: 2026:KHC:36024 WP No. 18344 of 2026 i) To direct the Hon'ble XXIV Addl.City Civil and Sessions Judge at Bengaluru (CCH-6) to pass appropriate orders on I.A.No.22 to 24 at Annexures D, E and F filed under Order 16 Rule 4 of CPC, u/O 8 Rule 17 read with Section 151 of CPC and U/o 8 Rule 1A read with Section 151 of CPC as expeditiously as possible and ii) To direct the Hon'ble XXIV Addl.City Civil Judge at Bengaluru (CCH-6) to finally dispose of the original Suit No.4143/2011 on the file of Hon'ble XXIV Addl.City Civil and Sessions Judge at Bengaluru (CCH-6) at Annexure-B as expeditiously as possible as it is an old case and iii) to grant such other further relief/s as this Hon'ble Court deem fit under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the ends of justice and equity. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the suit is of the year 2011 and that the defendants have been protracting the proceedings on one pretext or another. It is contended that I.A. Nos.22 to 24 had remained pending before the Trial Court for a considerable period, compelling the petitioner to approach this Court seeking a direction for disposal of the said interlocutory applications as well as the suit. It is further submitted that, during the pendency of the present writ petition, the Trial Court has disposed of I.A. Nos.22 to 24. Consequently, the grievance in respect of the first prayer no longer survives, and the petitioner now confines - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010399932026 NC: 2026:KHC:36024 WP No. 18344 of 2026 the relief sought to a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the suit expeditiously. 3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and having regard to the fact that the suit is of the year 2011, this Court deems it appropriate to issue the following directions: ORDER. i. The writ petition is disposed of directing XXIV Addl.City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru to dispose of O.S.No.4143/2011 as expeditiously as possible but not later than 6 months. ii.
