Munir, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in respect of Jalukbari P.S. Case No.35/2026, under Section 303(2)/317(2)/318(4)/324(5)/61(2) of the BNS, 2023 whereby the petitioner Narayan Ram Dara has prayed for releasing him on bail. Page No.# 2/2 3. A truck was kept parked at a place from very long time. Ultimately, the truck was reduced to a heap of scrap. That is why, the owner of the petrol pump sold the truck to a scrap dealer, and the scrap dealer purchased the said truck at scrap value and paid a part of the money to the present petitioner, who is an employee of the owner of the petrol pump. 4. The owner of the petrol pump was granted the privilege of pre-arrest bail by this Court and the scrap dealer was also allowed to go on bail by this Court. 5. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides. 6. This Court is of the opinion that under the given circumstances, the petitioner also does not deserve to be detained in custody for any further period of time. 7. Therefore, the bail application is allowed. 8. The petitioner Narayan Ram Dara, who was arrested in connection with Jalukbari P.S. Case No.35/2026, shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magiatrate, Kamrup(Metro) at Guwahati. 9.
