……Petitioner. Mr. Bibhaswan Bhattacharya Mr. Aliul Islam
.....for the Petitioner. Mr. Koustav Lal Mukherjee
……for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is similarly situated as Mansur Sk who has been granted anticipatory bail in CRM (A) 1590 of 2026. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that so far as the present petitioner is concerned, there are other incidents and complaints against the petitioner in respect of Suti PS Case no. 441/2016 dated 15.06.2022 and Suti PS Case no. 156/2017 dated 14.03.2017 and Suti PS Case no. 156/2022 dated 28.03.2022. Having considered the antecedents of the petitioner, I am of the opinion that the relief prayed for cannot be acceded to. Petitioner, if so advised, will pray for regular bail. Learned trial Court will assess the requirement of the petitioner in connection with the materials surfaced in course of investigation and thereafter exercise its discretion.
2 With the aforesaid observations CRM (A) 1894 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
