2026:JHHC:9921 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND, RANCHI A.B.A. No. 1122 of 2026 ---- Md. Shamim @ Samim Ansari, aged about 65 years, son of Rahim Baksh, resident of 44K Box Line, Jhanda Chowk, Sakchi Bazar, PO and PS Sakchi, Bistupur, Town Jamshedpur, District East Singhbhum, Jharkhand .... Petitioner -- Versus -- The State of Jharkhand .... Opposite Party ---- CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR DWIVEDI --- For the Petitioner :- Mr. A.K. Kashyap, Sr. Advocate For the State :- Mr. M. K. Mishra, Advocate For the Comp./Informant:- Mr. J.N. Upadhyay, Advocate ---- 2/07.04.2026 Heard learned counsels for petitioner and for State. 2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.1557 of 2024 [Sakchi PS Case No.240 of 2024], for offence registered under section 467, 468, 469, 420, 323, 324 of IPC, pending in court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur, East Sinbhbhum. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the purchaser of shop and false allegations are made against the petitioner of creating forged sale deed and he submits, in view of that, anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned State counsel as well as the learned counsel for the informant jointly oppose the prayer and submit that the allegations are there of impersonating two persons for the land in question of the informant and pursuant to that, the petitioner has got the land transferred in his favour. 5. Considering that the two persons have been impersonated by the petitioner for transferring the land in favour of the petitioner himself which clearly suggest that cheating has been made and forged documents have been created, and in that view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner, and as such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is, hereby, rejected. 6. However, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court and files any petition for regular bail, the same will be decided in accordance with law, without prejudice to this order.
