The petitioner has filed the present writ application with the prayer for a direction upon the SIR Tribunal to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that due to deletion of the name of the petitioner from the voter list, the passport authorities are not renewing the passport of the petitioner. Unless and until the Appellate Tribunal will decide the appeal filed by the petitioner, the petitioner will not be in a position to get the passport. Accordingly, he prays for a direction upon the Appellate Tribunal to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner at the very earliest. 3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court finds that the only grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal filed by the petitioner before the Appellate Tribunal is pending. 4. In view of the above, the Appellate Tribunal is requested to consider and dispose of the appeal dated March 31, 2 2026 preferred by the petitioner as early as possible, preferably within a period of one week from the date of receipt of this order. 5. Accordingly, WPA 13944 of 2026 stands disposed of. 6. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 7. Urgent Photostat certified copy, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all formalities. (Krishna Rao, J.)
