Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 1 month. Till date only one witness has been examined and the cross-examination of P.W.2 is yet to be completed. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. I have taken into account in detail the materials which are appearing against the present petitioner and the subject matter of the case in addition to the fact that the body was recovered after 10 to 12 days and the same was at the instance of the petitioner 2 and her husband. Most of the witnesses are staying in and around the vicinity of the residence of the present petitioner. Having considered the sensitivity of the offence, I am of the opinion that at least vulnerable witnesses be completed. There is a dilatory approach of the prosecution definitely in this case, but as a matter of last chance, six months’ time is granted to the prosecution to complete the vulnerable witnesses. Petitioner would renew her prayer for bail after the aforesaid period of six months is over. With the aforesaid observations, CRM(M)1208 of 2026 is dismissed at this stage. The investigating officer of the case is present in Court. His further appearance before this Court is dispensed with. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
