Dhiman Sil, ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was an altercation between the electrical and maintenance staff of the railway and the GRP personnel in a coach of a running train which resulted in the present complaint. The petitioner has been falsely implicated. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. Upon consideration of the material on record, particularly the statement of the witnesses and the injury report, this Court is of the view that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required and he may be granted anticipatory bail. Accordingly, this Court directs that in the event of arrest, the petitioner namely Sanjib Kumar Roy be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten Thousand only) with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of the 2 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
