The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 05.02.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No. 2325/2025 [KLR-RES]. In terms of the said order, the accused was directed to decide the appeal in accordance with law after notifying the parties and hearing afresh. The learned Single Judge had also directed the accused to take note of the judgment rendered by this Court in Writ Petition No. 58789/2016. 2. The accused has filed a compliance affidavit enclosing there with an order dated 10.04.2026 whereby the revision petition was rejected. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010559512025 NC: 2026:KHC:37841-DB CCC No. 1097 of 2025 3. The learned counsel appearing for the complainant submits that the accused was also required to take note of the other similar cases as well as order passed in Writ Petition No. 58789/2016. 4. We note that the order dated 10.04.2026 also mentions the aforesaid writ petition. 5. In view of the above, we are not persuaded to accept that any proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 are required to be initiated. The complaint is accordingly closed. 6. However, we clarify that this will not preclude the complainant from availing of the substantive remedies, including in respect of the order dated 10.04.2026, albeit in accordance with law.
