23.07.2026 rpan/05 CPAN 788 of 2026 Safiya Hasan, represented by her father Sk. Tabriku Islam – Versus – Partha Pratim Chatterjee & Others in MAT 90 of 2026 Mr. Suman Dey, Mr. Amit Halder … for the Petitioner. Ms. Koyeli Bhattacharyya, Mr. Bibek Dutta, Mr. Manas Bhattacharyya … for the Alleged Contemnor no.1. Mr. Dey, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the earlier order of this Court on 15th July, 2026, the petitioner has been granted admission in the Contai Hindu Girls’ High School (H.S.) [in short the said school] but the Board has not granted registration to the petitioner as yet. Ms. Bhattacharyya, learned advocate appearing for the alleged contemnor no.1 submits that already a memo has been issued on 21st July, 2026 to the Headmistress of the said school requesting her to send all necessary documents, as indicated in the said memo, on any working day so that registration formalities of the petitioner may be completed without any delay. She further submits that once the documents are submitted, immediate steps would be taken to grant registration in favour of the petitioner to enable her to appear in the Madhyamik examination of the year 2027. Let the said memo dated 21st July, 2026, as produced, be kept on record. Since the order of this Court has been substantially complied with, we are not inclined to proceed with the present contempt application, any further and the same is, accordingly, disposed of.
