The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sukhdeo Nagar P.S. Case No. 01 of 2026, registered for the offence under Sections 20(b)(ii), 20(b), 22 of NDPS Act of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the name of petitioner has come in the confessional statement of the co-accused and 1.052 gm. of Ganja was recovered from the possession of apprehended co-accused, Aman Jaiswal and Nutun Linda @ Mithun. He further submits that the petitioner is not having criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 12 of the petition. He also submits that the said recovery is also intermediary in quantity. 4. Learned Special P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer and submits that the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement of the co-accused. 5. Considering that the name of the petitioner has come in the confessional statement and the petitioner is not having criminal antecedent as disclosed in para 12 of the petition and that even the recovery of the contraband made from the other co-accused, is intermediary quantity, and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
