1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 07.11.2023 passed in MCRC No. 6730 of 2023, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, Rakesh had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of that
order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. Earlier on multiple occasions also this Court had granted extension KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN
2 of time for compliance of the order dated 07.11.2023.
4. The learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Raipur District-Raipur vide his request letter dated 13.07.2026 has requested for grant of 06 months additional time for concluding the trial.
5. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that the prosecution has cited a total of 52 witnesses and recording of their evidence is presently in progress. The record further reveals that the examination of the prosecution witnesses were delayed due to the time consumed by the concerned Police Station in producing the examination report and the seized documents. It is further revealed that the said examination report and seized documents have now been produced before the trial Court. Owing to the aforesaid circumstances, the prosecution evidence could not be completed within the stipulated period. Accordingly, the learned trial Court has sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of six months for recording the remaining prosecution evidence and concluding the trial and final disposal of the case.
6. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting six months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 04 months time for concluding the trial from today.
7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
8. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/- (Ramesh Sinha)
