2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was placed under suspension by order dated 27.04.2024. Subsequently, the Collector, Durg, by order dated 03.07.2025, revoked the order of suspension and reinstated the petitioner in service. He would next submit that while revoking the suspension, the Collector specifically observed that so far as the period of suspension is concerned, the same will be considered separately by a distinct order. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 06.08.2025 before the Collector seeking regularization of the suspension period and payment of consequential salary and other admissible benefits. However, despite the lapse of considerable time, the said representation has not yet been decided.
3. Per contra, learned State counsel submits that if the petitioner's representation is pending consideration before the Collector, Durg, the competent authority shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law and in terms of the observations contained in the order dated
03.07.2025.
4. Considering the limited nature of the grievance raised and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, this writ petition is
disposed of with a direction that respondent No.2 - Collector, Durg, shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2025 (Annexure P/1), by passing a reasoned and speaking order, strictly in accordance with law and keeping in view the observations contained in the order dated 03.07.2025, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
