Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in live-in-relationship and are being threatened with dire consequences by the private respondents. Resultantly, a representation dated 10.07.2026 (Annexure P-6) was also made to respondent No.2- Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot, District Pathankot, Punjab, for protection of their lives and liberty but in vain.
