The aforesaid involvement of the petitioner in other cases reveals the same modus operandi and the conduct of the petitioner which is an important consideration in granting bail is not encouraging, rather it is an adverse circumstance against
him.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances and taking into account the mode and manner of duping the informant together with the antecedents of the petitioner as narrated above and keeping in view the other circumstances on record in entirety including the non-cooperation of the petitioner in the trial by not cross-examining the witnesses of the prosecution, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. 5. Hence, the bail application of the petitioner stands rejected. Accordingly, the BLAPL stands disposed of. A soft copy of this order may immediately be transmitted to the Court concerned. In view of the alternative oral prayer as advanced for the petitioner, trial be expedited, if there is no other legal impediment. (G. Satapathy)
