The writ petitioner had executed a sale deed dated 25.05.2026 in favour of one N.Sumathi and that was presented for registration. The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent neither declined nor entertained the document. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed. 3. The petitioner further states that the respondent is under the impression that the land in question is a “Boomithaana land”. In fact Tahsildar report has been received and it does not say so. 4. The respondent is directed to receive the petition mentioned document. If according to the respondent, it cannot be registered, he has to issue a refusal check slip containing reasons. If there are no impediments, the document has to be registered and released according to law. The respondent cannot keep the petitioner in the state of suspense. Mandating the respondent to adopt one of the courses of action indicated above, the Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
