Supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioner be kept with the record. Learned senior advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that out of 8 witnesses cited by the prosecution, till date only 2 witnesses have been examined and petitioner is in custody for about 13 months. Learned advocate for the State submits that about 30 thousand FICN were recovered from the present petitioner. Petitioner’s prayer for bail was withdrawn on 06.05.2026 in Special Leave to Appeal (Crl.) No(s). 2688/2026. 2 Having considered that the evidence of the case is progressing, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. State would take steps to complete the available witnesses within a reasonable period of time. At this stage, the prayer for bail in CRM (M) 1448 of 2026 is rejected. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
