This appeal is directed against the order dated 09.02.2026 passed in Misc. Cri. Application No. 257 of 2026 arising out of Sadar (Mesra O.P.) P. S. Case No. 512 of 2025 corresponding to CID P. S. Case No. 34 of 2025 by the learned A.J.C. XVIII, Ranchi whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that a black Scorpio was intercepted by the police and on search several miscreants were found present and incriminating articles including arms and ammunition have been recovered from their possession. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the confessional statement of the apprehended accused persons. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 17.01.2026 and one of the apprehended accused persons namely, Ravi Anand has been granted bail by this court in Cr. Appeal (D.B.) No. 1596 of 2025. Learned P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, we while setting aside the order dated 09.02.2026 passed in Misc. Cri. Application No. 257 of 2026, -2- direct that the appellant above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner XVIII, Ranchi in connection with Sadar (Mesra O.P.)
