Iqbal …for respondent no.2 to 4 Ms. Sreshtha Ghosh, Ms. Sanjana Jha …for the opposite party In this application, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that through initially he prayed for quashing of the order dated 17.07.2005 but since Trial has also been started by framing charge against the accused persons, he is not pressing the said prayer but he submits that appropriate direction may be passed upon the Trial Court for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being G.R. Case No.111 of 2020 presently pending before learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah. Having heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and both the opposite parties, it appears that the prayer made by the petitioner is innocuous and if it allowed in terms of the prayer made therein, I find that the opposite party will have no cause to prejudice. In view of above and also considering the fact that the proceeding is pending for about 6 years, the instant application 2 being CRR 3471 of 2025 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the Court below to make every endeavour for expeditious disposal of the proceeding being G.R. Case No.111 of 2020 and to make his best effort to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months from the next date of hearing.
