ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer:
"a. Set aside the Order dated 31-07-2025 so passed by the Lrnd. LXI City Civil & Sessions Judge, Bengaluru [CCH-62) in Cril. Appeal No.2126/2024 (Annexure- A); b. Permit the Petitioner to Deposit the 20% Interim Compensation Amount before the Trial Court within such time as this Hon'ble Court deems fit; c. Stay all further coercive proceedings pursuant to the order of Conviction, pending disposal of Interim Compensation; & d. Pass such other order/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit in the interest of justice and equity."

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the amount of 20% that had to be deposited in terms of the statute under Section 148A of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the petitioner has deposited the amount with certain delay, which is beyond 90 days, as directed by the Court of Session in Criminal Appeal No.2126/2024.
4. In the light of the petitioner depositing the same, the Concerned Court shall accept the Demand Draft and continue the suspension of sentence until further orders to be passed by the Concerned Court. With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands
disposed.
Ordered accordingly.
