1. This revisional application seeks expeditious disposal of an application for effecting repairs to the suit property filed on August 13, 2025 in Title Suit No. 378 of 2025 pending before the learned Judge Bench VII, City Civil Court at Calcutta.
2. Mr. Bardhan, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the suit premises badly needs repair all the more so since the rainy season is on. It is submitted that the application seeking permission for effecting repairs to the suit property has been pending for almost one year and the matter is being adjourned.
3. In view of the nature of the order proposed to be passed, direction for prior service of copy of the revisional application along with notice on the opposite parties is not being made however, the petitioner shall remain obliged to
2 serve a copy of the revisional application along with a copy of this order on the opposite parties within a week from date.
4. Having heard Mr. Bardhan, learned advocate representing the petitioner and having perused the materials on record, this revisional application is disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, Bench-VII, City Civil Court, Calcutta to dispose of the
petitioner’s application for repairs as expeditiously as possible and preferably on July 31, 2026 when the same has been fixed.
5. However if or any reason the same is not disposed of on July 31, 2026, then the learned Trial Court is requested to consider and dispose of the said application at least within a week thereafter.
6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
