The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the prayer to direct the respondents to make the payment of GPF to the petitioner, who has already been superannuated on 31.03.2025. 2. It is argued by counsel for the petitioner that for the purpose of GPF, a letter dated 24.01.2026 has been written by the Chief Medical Officer, Chandauli/respondent no.3 to the respondent no.2-Finance Controller, Directorate of Family Welfare, U.P., Lucknow by which necessary papers and documents were forwarded by him seeking his instructions in the matter for the payment of GPF. It is further argued that till date no decision has been taken by the respondent no.3 hence present writ petition. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the records. 4. From perusal of the record it is clear that inspite of the fact that a letter dated 24.01.2026 was written by the respondent no.3 to the respondent no.2 for payment of GPF till date no decision has been taken. 5. In the facts and circumstances of the case, respondent no.2 is directed to take a decision in the matter within two weeks from today and sent the aforesaid information to the respondent no.3 forthwith and thereafter the respondent no.3 is directed to do the needful in the matter within next two weeks. 6.
