JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court, seeking the following prayer: “WHEREFORE, it is respectfully prayed that, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to set aside the order dated 17.06.2026 passed by the Hon’ble VII Additional District and Sessions Judge Court at Mysore in CR No.62/2026 filed by the Respondent No.1 Udayagiri P.S for the offences punishable u/s 20(ii)(B) of NDPS Act and also allow the petitioner to furnish new surety for his release in CR No.62/2026 pending before Hon’ble VII Additional District and Sessions Judge Court at Mysore in the ends of justice.” 2. Heard Sri.Gaurav Subramanyam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Smt.Waheeda M.M., learned HCGP appearing for the respondent and have perused the material on record. 3. The petitioner is granted bail but he is not released on account of a surety that is rendered by the person who gave it being fake in the sense that the property that was offered a surety was a fake property. 5. Learned HCGP would contend that surety must be given in the light of the fact that the petitioner is alleged of the offence punishable under the provisions of NDPS Act. 6. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he will offer cash surety of Rs.25,000/-, be taken by the concerned Court and necessary orders to be passed directing the release of the petitioner.
