The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with NDPS Case No.10 of 2025 corresponding to Bokaro Steel City PS. Case No.255 of 2025, for offence registered under section 8(c), 21(a) and 26(d) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985, pending in court of learned Principal District and Principal Judge, at Bokaro. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that five bottles of cough syrup (allegedly containing codeine) were seized from the house of the petitioner which has been purchased on the prescription of the doctor as contained in Annexure-2 series. He next submits that at the time of raid, the petitioner was not present in the house. He next submits after lodging the present case, the another case has been lodged against the petitioner relating to Drugs and Cosmetics Act. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the 2026:JHHC:10090 2 said cough syrup has been recovered from the house of the petitioner 5. Considering that five bottles of cough syrup have been recovered and Annexure-2 series prima-facie suggest that the same was purchased on the prescription of the doctor, and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, above named, is, hereby, directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today, and learned court shall release the petitioner, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as the learned court may deem fit and proper. 6.
