In this writ petition, the petitioners have sought for writ of mandamus to respondent No.2 to enter the name of the father of the petitioners in revenue records, as per the registered sale deed dated 28.06.1961 (Annexure-B) and also quash the endorsement dated 25.03.2026 (Annexure-D). 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on careful consideration of the same, the petitioners are seeking entry of the name of their father in revenue records based on the registered sale deed dated 28.06.1961, after the lapse of more than six decades. 4. In that view of the matter, it is open for the petitioners to establish their right over the property in question before the competent Civil Court. Liberty is - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:35780 WP No. 20571 of 2026 reserved to the petitioners to approach the competent Civil Court and thereafter, approach the respondent authorities seeking entry of the name of their father in the revenue records. 5.
