Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with Kalinganagar (Duburi) P.S. Case No.449 of 2025 corresponding to C.T. Case No.1976 of 2025 pending in the file of learned J.M.F.C., Jajpur Road on the grounds stated therein. 3. Gone through the FIR as at Annexure-1. It is claimed that other accused persons are on bail and while stating so, an order dated 24th December, 2025 in Bail Application No.314 of 2025 of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jajpur Road is referred to. It is submitted that a case under Sections 281, 132,109, and 61(2) BNS and other allied offences is registered and hence, the petitioner apprehends arrest in the hands of the local police. The case diary along with other relevant documents besides the injury report reveals that the victim has p. 2 not received any external injury noticed at the time of his medical examination. Considering the above facts and the submissions of the learned counsel for the respective parties, this Court though not inclined to grant pre-arrest bail but is of the view that the petitioner should be directed to surrender before the learned court below for being released with suitable conditions. 4. Accordingly, it is ordered. 5. In the result, ABLAPL stands disposed of with the direction as aforesaid. It is further directed that in the event of surrender before the court of learned J.M.F.C., Jajpur Road within a fortnight from today, it is directed that the petitioner shall be released on bail in connection with Kalinganagar (Duburi) P.S. Case No.449 of 2025 corresponding to C.T. Case No.1976 of 2025 subject to him furnishing a bail bond of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees thirty thousand) with one solvent surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned court below, which shall be at liberty to impose such other suitable conditions as deemed just and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. 6.
