Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record. 2. Learned Advocate representing the petitioner complains of inaction on the part of the concerned police authorities in taking steps based on the complaint lodged on 4th June, 2026. 3. Prayer is made in this writ petition for issuance of mandamus directing the concerned police authorities to take steps in accordance with law. 4. Learned Advocate representing State files a communication dated 16th July, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Bhangar Police Station and same is taken on record. 2 5. Copy of the said communication dated 16th July, 2026 is made over to the learned Advocate representing the petitioner. 6. It is disclosed in the said communication that taking note of the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 4th June, 2026 criminal prosecution has been initiated by drawing up an FIR being Bhangar P.S. Case no. 139 dated 25th June, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS. 7. In view of aforesaid steps taken by the concerned police authorities at this stage no further order need be passed on this writ petition and the writ petition is disposed of. 8. However this order shall not preclude the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate if occasion so arises. 9. Accordingly W.P.A. No. 16215 of 2026 stands disposed of. 10.
