In view of the above statement made by learned Senior counsel for respondent No.5, the present writ petition is disposed of. 5. It is further clarified that as per the Haryana Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011, and the letter dated 24.04.2026 issued by the Director, Elementary Education, Panchkula (Haryana) to all the District Elementary Education Officers, Block Elementary Education Officers and recognized schools, in paragraph No.2, it has been specifically mentioned that if any school voluntarily grants admission to eligible children residing within a radius of 1 to 3 kilometers, their fee reimbursement will be paid by the department as per rules. Therefore, respondents No.1 to 4 are directed to reimburse the fee of the petitioner within a stipulated time without any delay, as per rules. 6. It is a prerogative of the school whether the student is to be admitted or not, after looking his/her eligibility. In the present case, since the school has voluntarily granted admission to the petitioner as per rules as well as the letter issued, this would not be treated as precedent in any other case and will be only one time measure. 7. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.
