JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before this Court calling in question proceedings in C.C.No.10045/2025 pending before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru City, for the offences under Sections 354(D), 506, 448 of Indian Penal Code. 2. Heard Sri.Vinod N, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Smt.Waheeda M.M., learned HCGP appearing for respondent No.1, Sri.Ramu V, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2 and have perused the material on record. 3. During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties to the lis have settled the dispute among themselves and have filed a compounding application along with the affidavit. This petition is filed by the petitioner for quashing the proceedings in Crime No.81/2024 vide CC.No.10045/2025 registered by the ThilakNagar PS, for the offences punishable under Section 354(D) 506 and 448 of IPC pending before the CJM, Bangalore City. herein is the defacto complainant in the said case. ii. Due to the intervention of the elders and well-wishers of both the family & Friends petitioners and 2nd respondent herein decided to resolve the dispute between them amicably and in this regard they have entered into a compromise wherein both have settled all their disputes. iii. that in view of the above said compromise, petitioners and 2nd respondent, jointly request that this Hon'ble Court may be please to compound the offences punishable under Section 354(D) 506 and 448 of IPC and quash the charge sheet and all proceedings in Crime No.81/2024 vide CC.No.10045/2025 registered by the ThilakNagar PS, and acquit the petitioners for the aforesaid offences. iv. If the charge sheet is quashed and all proceedings in Crime No.81/2024 vide CC.No.10045/2025 are closed then the 1st respondent will not sustain any injury or loss. WHEREFORE, the petitioners and 2nd respondent herein pray that this Hon'ble Court may be please to permit them to compound the above said offences and record the compound by quash the charge sheet and all proceedings in Crime No.81/2024 vide CC.No.10045/2025, for the offences punishable under Section 354(D) 506 and 448 of IPC pending before the CJM, Bangalore City and intern acquit the petitioners by allowing this petition, in the interest of justice and equity.” 4. In the light of application for compounding being filed along with the affidavit and offences not being against the State, I deem it appropriate to accept the compounding application and terminate the proceedings against the petitioner in the subject petition. 6. For the aforesaid reasons, the following: ORDER [I] Criminal Petition is disposed.
