Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s application for renewal of stage carriage permit and backlog entry dated 24th February, 2025 is still pending consideration before the Secretary, State Transport Authority, Kolkata. Learned counsel submits that even the notice dated 25th August, 2025 has not been responded. 2. In view of the submissions made, the Secretary, State Transport Authority, West Bengal, is directed to consider and decide the petitioner’s application for renewal of stage carriage permit and backlog entry dated 24th February, 2025 within three weeks in accordance with law after giving the parties the opportunity of being heard. 2 3. The authority shall convey the decision within two weeks to the petitioner. 4. Hence, the present writ petition stands disposed of. 5.
