1. Present petition has been filed for issuance of directions to the respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family from the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner makes a statement at Bar that at this stage of the proceedings, the petitioner will be contended if a direction is issued to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda to decide the representation Annexure P-2 dated 30.06.2026 moved by the petitioner.

4. Mr. Amandeep Singh Samra, AAG, Punjab accepts notice and states that in view of the stand taken on behalf of the petitioner, he does not want to file response to the petition at this stage.

In view thereof but without commenting anything upon the merits of the contents of the representation Annexure P-2 dated 30.06.2026 and also those of the claims raised by the petitioner in the present petition, a direction is issued to the respondent No.3 to dispose off the said representation in accordance with law at the earliest possible but not later than 30 days from today. Anything mentioned in the present order shall not impact disposal of the said representation.
6. Petition is disposed off accordingly. All interim application/s, if any, stand/s disposed off.
