1. The petitioner is seeking regular bail under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) (Section 439 Cr.P.C.) in FIR No. 92, Dated 18.08.2025, Sections 115(2), 118(1), 127(1), 109, 191(3), 351(2), 190 of BNS, 2023, (Under section 323, 324, 340, 307, 148, 506, 149 of IPC, 1860) {later on added section 126 (1), 238, 61(2), 117 (2) of BNS, 2023 (Under section 339, 201, 120B, 325 of IPC, 1860) and deleted section 127 (1) of BNS and Under section 340 of IPC, 1860) at Police Station Bajakhana, District Faridkot
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 15.08.2025, complainant Avtar Singh along with Ajaypal Singh, Akashdeep Singh, Kulwant Singh and Ali were talking while standing near the cattle shed in the area of Bargari. Then 20-25 persons including Sukhraj Singh @ Khaji armed with kirpan, Bohar Singh armed with kappa, Sukhpreet Singh @ Leeter armed with kirpan, Gurpreet Singh @ Gopa armed with iron khanda, Arshdeep JANKI BHATT 2026.07.16 18:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. He is not named in the FIR and no specific role has been attributed to him. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody for the last 04 months and 21 days. He, thus, prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.
4. Notice of motion.
5. Mr. Sandeep Kumar, D.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the State and has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of regular bail to the petitioner on the ground of gravity of allegations. He has filed the custody certificate in the Court today and the same is taken on record. He further submits that as per the custody certificate, the petitioner is in custody for the last 04 months and 21 days.
6. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

After hearing the rival contentions of the learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case that the petitioner is in custody for the last 04 months and 21 days; the conclusion of trial is likely to take time and continuous detention of the petitioner would not serve the ends of justice, this Court has no option but to grant the concession of regular bail to the petitioner during the pendency of the trial.

10. It is clarified that while on bail so granted through the instant
order, if the petitioner is found indulging in any other criminal case, it shall be open to the State to seek cancellation of his bail.
11. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand
disposed of.
