Considering the simple nature of grievance to the extent of directing the respondent authorities to consider the representation, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the motion stage, itself. 3. The petitioner who was working as Superintendent, Food & Civil Supplies Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh was promoted to the post of District Supply Officer (for short, ‘DSO’) in the year 1999. While serving as the DSO, the petitioner was allowed to hold the Charge of Deputy Director, Food & Civil Supplies, without any financial benefits since 06.12.2023. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent authorities to regularize his service as Deputy Director, Food & Civil Supplies, with all financial benefits w.e.f. 16.12.2023. 5. Mr. U. Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner while referring to the representation filed on 16.01.2026 submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if the representation of the petitioner is directed to be considered and disposed of. 6. Having considered the simple prayer of the petitioner for a direction to dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner and as agreed to by the learned counsel for the parties, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition without adverting to the merit of the matter, by directing the Page No.# 3/3 respondent authorities, more particularly, the Secretary, Food & Civil Supplies Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh to consider and dispose of the representation dated 16.01.2026 as to whether he would be entitled for regularization of his service as Deputy Director, Food & Civil Supplies or any financial benefits on he having been allowed to function on in-charge basis. It is directed accordingly. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the matter, however, the respondent authorities are expected to consider and dispose of the representation dated 16.01.2026 filed by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.
