The petitioner has filed the instant petition seeking the following reliefs:- “10.1 Issue or appropriate writ, order an direction, more particularly in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondent No. 03 (Tehsildar, Bilaspur) to decide the petitioner's application dated 29.02.2024, registered as Revenue Case No. 202605072500072/B-121, Year 2023- 2024, within a stipulated time frame as may be deemed fit by this Hon'ble Court; 10.2 Pass any other order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice;” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application dated 29.02.2024 (Annexure P-1) seeking removal of encroachment from Government land. Pursuant to the said application, the concerned Tahsildar, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (C.G.), has registered proceedings under Section 248 of the 3 Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code. However, the said proceedings are still pending and no final decision has yet been taken. 3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection to the limited prayer made by the petitioner. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court finds that proceedings under Section 248 of the Chhattisgarh Land Revenue Code have already been initiated by the competent authority pursuant to the petitioner's application. The order-sheet further reveals that the matter was last listed on 11.04.2025 and is still awaiting final adjudication. In the aforesaid circumstances, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the concerned Tahsildar, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (C.G.), to conclude the pending proceedings and pass a reasoned order, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
