1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.
2. By presenting this writ petition, inter alia, petitioner has prayed for registration of FIR.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is in spite of lodging complaint till date necessary steps are not taken by the concerned police authorities.
4. Learned Advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 20th July, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge of Bagnan Police Station and the same is taken on record.

5. Copy of the said communication is made over to the learned Advocate representing the petitioner.
6. It is disclosed in the said communication that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner a criminal prosecution is initiated by registering an FIR being Bagnan Police Station Case No. 512 of 2026 dated 18.07.2026 under certain provisions of BNS.
7. Since FIR has been registered and investigation has commenced at this stage no further order need be passed on this writ petition and the same stands disposed of.
8. However this order shall not preclude the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate, if situation so arises.
9. With the aforesaid directions W.P.A 16188 of 2026 stands disposed of.
10. Parties to act on the Server copy of this order duly downloaded from the Official Website of this Hon’ble Court.
11. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
