The petitioner is named in the FIR and apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 609(c) of 2024 registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2) and 85 of BNS. 3. Petitioner being husband alleged to commit physical and mental cruelty upon OP No.2/wife due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry. 4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner that in terms of order of mediation proceeding no. 926 of 2026, dated 11.08.2026, parties settled their dispute and difference. It appears that the matter settled for one time payment against cash of Rs. 11 lakh and parties Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20829 of 2026(4) dt.17-08-2026 2/2 also decided to dissolve their marriage in view of their agreement. The aforesaid discussed agreement in terms of mediation proceeding no. 926 of 2026, was also approved by learned counsel for informant/O.P No. 2. 5. Learned APP opposed the prayer of bail. 6. In view of aforesaid factual submissions and by taking note of fact as the parties settled their dispute and differences as discussed aforesaid, accordingly petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender in the court below within a period of four weeks, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court of ACJM, Barh, Patna, in connection with Complaint Case No. 609(c) of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the BNSS and also with condition that:- (I) Parties are directed to abide by terms and condition as agreed by them through agreement dated 11.08.2026, as agreed in mediation proceeding 926 of 2026, dated 11.08.2026.
