KAMAL COMMON ORAL ORDER Petitioner is before this Court being aggrieved by the notices dated 14.10.2022 and 01.12.2022 by respondent No.1 - Adjudicating Authority issued under Section 8(1) of the Prevention of Money - Laundering Act, 2002 (for short 'PMLA') - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34681 WP No. 25260 of 2022 C/W WP No. 24789 of 2022 calling upon the petitioner to show cause why the retention of documents/ records seized as per the details provided in the application be not permitted to be retained by the Enforcement Directorate in terms of Section 17(4) of PMLA. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits, since petitioner had approached this Court at the stage of receipt of the said showcase notices, if liberty is reserved to the petitioner to submit additional documents with the statement of objections, if any, with a further direction to the respondent- Authorities to consider the same and not to precipitate the matter till such consideration, purpose of the petition will be served. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submit that, if petitioner has already submitted the objections and if the petitioner submits further objections and response, the same will be considered in accordance with law. 4. Submission is placed on record. 5. Accordingly, petitions are disposed of reserving liberty of petitioner to submit additional response/ reply along with the documents, if any, within 30 days from today and the respondent-authorities to consider the same and pass - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:34681 WP No. 25260 of 2022 C/W WP No. 24789 of 2022 appropriate orders in accordance with law within an outer limit of 60 days from thereafter.
