Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioners is taken on record. 2. Learned advocate representing the petitioners submits that in spite of lodging complaint same has not been transformed into an FIR. It is also contended that there is inaction on the part of the concerned police authorities. 3. Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 20th July, 2026 of Officer-in-Charge, Titagarh Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of the communication dated 20th July, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioners. 4. It is disclosed in the communication dated 20th July, 2026 that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioners a criminal prosecution has been initiated by registering FIR being Narkeldanga Police Station Case No.350/2026 dated 24th June, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS, 2023. 5. In view of registering FIR as made by the concerned police authorities, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 6. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioners to approach jurisdictional Magistrate, if occasion so arises. 7.
